Mt. Pleasant Christian School, Inc. is a great school.
As I look back upon my year here I think of many great things. The education was great, but also the friendly environment. Everyone was nice to each other. We cared about each other, we didn’t do things just to hurt one another .I have received many great lessons throughout this school year. I have learned that the easy way isn’t always the best way, and to ask God and seek His guidance first for any situation. The knowledge I have obtained this school year will be very useful in the rest of my school years to come. My two loving teachers, Sister Jones-Fosu and Sister Reid, helped me to understand and comprehend all of my work. They made sure that I was doing my best all of the time. They stayed on me about doing my homework. They made sure I was meeting important dead lines. They prepared us for test and exams with competitive games. They helped us learn the fun way, and I am very thankful for that. I have also had a loving principal, who loves whatever the circumstances. She goes out of her way to make sure that we get the best education that we can. She also wants us to have fun. I am thankful for the fact that she spends time with us, because at some schools you barely see your principal. She does not just care about us, but she also cares about the teachers and members of the church. My classmates were great; they made my learning experience even better. We supported each other not only in school, but also in other arenas. We played when it was time to play, and we worked when it was time to work. We have helped each other throughout the year to be sure that we all are successful once we leave Mt. Pleasant Christian School, Inc.. The students really cared about their school. We participated in events to raise money for the school, and we received full participation. Our student body really cared about their teachers; we had a teacher appreciation week, to celebrate all the hard work teachers do for us. This school combined Godly affairs with worldly affairs. We were encouraged to pray before tests, quizzes and exams; this helped us because God let us remember what we have studied. We also celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ in our Christmas program. We showed how much we love God through dancing and singing in our Fine Arts Recital. We have had an overall great year. We have accomplished so many things. We have learned so much. As an 8th grader, I will be leaving next year going to a higher stage. I will look back on this school year here and think about how it has influenced my life. I will always remember this great year of my life. I pray that everything I learned throughout this school year will stay with me for the rest of my life.
